After many long years of poor maintenance, we finally have a new website that is more user friendly.  Thanks to Patrick Gross for helping us out with that.   From now on we'll be updating the website at least once every two weeks, so everyone can know whats going on in the world of True Men.  We're leaving for Disney World in less than twelve hours, so we're all very excited.  Look forward to hearing about that when we get back.

Hey all you fans out there. Sorry it's taken us so long to get the site updated. Natedawg has really been slacking, but he's recently opened up some time in his schedule and found somebody who has promised to bug him into getting this site up to date on a regular basis, so that's good news. Wow, lots of news to catch up on.  The TRUEMEN have been working hard to get ready for the release of their new CD. We're not sure when this will be, but we are going to be recording over Spring Break and over a couple of weekends in April. We don't have many gigs lined up, so come on folks, hire us up while you can. We need to get some money. We'll do anything. We've sang for birthday parties, office parties, anything. We went down to Jefferson City this past Wednesday to sing for our Senators and Representatives. Hoping they enjoyed it and will give Truman some more money. Keep checking the site, like I said, I'll stay on it better now. Thanks all.

PS. Looks like the concert will be Night before reading day, so leave us some space in your schedule, PLEEEEASE!!!

THE TRUEMEN'S latest Christmas CD has been complete for a couple of weeks now. Minor Detail did an awesome job with ACappella fest, you should all thank them for their hard work and the great groups they brought in. Meanwhile, the Truemen are gearing up for the end of the semester in a big way. With gig's and practices virtually every day until the middle of final's week, it's going to be a busy busy time for the Truemen. There are two gigs especially where they would love your support. 1) Holiday Lights- Tuesday December 6th in front of Kirk Memorial. Immediately after A Christmas Carol (~9:30). Minor Detail and Unique Ensemble will be performing as well. Free Cocoa, cookies and cappucino will be available, sponsored by the SAB. 2) The True Men Christmas Concert- Saturday December 10th at 7:00 in Baldwin Hall. Minor detail will give the intermission performance and there will be hot cocoa available afterwards. 3) Webster Groves High School, Tuesday December 13th at 7:30. Christmas CDs will be available at all shows for $5, regular CDs are $10.

The Holiday Lights went extremely well. Thanks everyone for showing up. Also thank you to the SAB for putting it on and great job to Minor Detail and Unique Ensemble. They both sang very well. Don't forget the Concert tonight... We'll save Santa and Minor Detail will be performing during the intermission. Also look for a special surprise during the performance. You'll know it when you see it.

For now...  This will also act as the True Men History page, until such time as we can get a new one up... here's a brief and un-updated version...
The group's history has been highlighted by numerous honorable performances. In January of 2001, the True Men honored the personal request of newly-elected Missouri Governor Bob Holden to perform at his inauguration. Two months later the group appeared to perform at the NCAA Women's Final Four Tournament in St. Louis, MO. In their first national competition, the National Championship of Collegiate A Cappella, the True Men walked away with two of the four awards presented.
